We’ve improved the formula of our purifying face mask!

Hello everyone! I’m Marguerite, Product Development Coordinator at Horace.

Today is an exciting day for me! The new formula of our purifying face mask, which we've been working on for 18 months, is now available! I wanted to take this opportunity to explain exactly what has changed, and how we’ve improved it.

The previous formula was well-rated, with an average of 4.7 out of 5. Nevertheless, after discussions with you guys, we thought we could improve it. So we’ve created a mask that is even more caring, with an added touch of fun thanks to a new colour, which will look great on every skin tone.

The new composition

We’ve kept the same base that you liked so much to ensure the same benefits as the previous formula: it is still a purifying face mask. It absorbs impurities, clears pores and regulates excess sebum. We’ve also kept the shea butter, which nourishes and protects skin, as well as betaine which soothes. And to ensure these same effects, we’ve exchanged the pink and green clays for kaolin and silica, two natural clays with purifying properties.

We’ve also improved the formula by enriching it with a healthy glow complex of active ingredients to leave your skin even more luminous. We have also included blue everlasting flower, an antioxidant flower which slows down premature skin aging and also ensures a fresh, healthy glow!

Thanks to these adjustments, the mask is even more natural with 99% ingredients of natural origin. It’s still paraben-free, mineral oil-free, alcohol-free, and is suitable for every skin type. And it’s still produced in the South of France.

Why blue?

The blue colour of the mask is inspired by the blue everlasting flower. It was also a way for us to make those 15 minutes of mask-time a bit more fun for you guys. We tested several colours with you, and it was this blue that came out on top. The colour is created with a mineral pigment of natural origin, similar to the pigments used in the previous formula.
