FAQ About Our Sunscreen Products

The sunscreen has been tested for sensitive skin, but is it suitable for problematic skin conditions? (dermatitis, eczema, allergies?)

Our SPF50+ Sunscreen has not been tested on atopic or reactive skin. It is designed for sensitive skin. If you have a skin condition, we recommend consulting a healthcare professional before use.

What is the difference between UVB and UVA?

UV rays are ultraviolet radiation. UVB rays have a short wavelength and penetrate the epidermis, while UVA rays have a longer wavelength and reach the dermis. UVB rays are responsible for tanning and sunburns, whereas UVA rays contribute to signs of aging as they penetrate deeper into the skin.

When should I apply sunscreen?

It is important to apply sunscreen 15 to 30 minutes before sun exposure. This allows the UV filters to properly adhere to the skin and be fully effective. Sunscreen should then be reapplied every 2 hours, as well as after swimming, sweating, or drying off.

What is the difference between a mineral filter and a chemical filter?

Mineral filters reflect and scatter UV rays like a mirror. They create a protective barrier on the skin and prevent UV rays from penetrating. Chemical filters absorb UV rays and convert this energy into harmless heat, which is then dissipated.

Is the product suitable for the face?

Yes, absolutely. The product is non-comedogenic.
