No one likes that feeling of looking in the mirror in the morning and not looking their best. Discover our expert tips to revive your complexion, conceal imperfections, and look better. All it takes is a few minutes in the bathroom!
Prep your skin
Above all, it’s essential to take care of your skin. Without this, all efforts will be wasted. The key to looking fresh and awake is cleansing and moisturising your skin every day. This requires the use of a Purifying Face Cleanser coupled with a quality moisturiser that’s adapted to the unique needs of your skin. Remember to apply your skincare by massaging the face from the inside out and from top to bottom to decongest, stimulate and contour your features. Once the day is over, remember to remove makeup if you wore any, or if not, cleanse anyway to rid the skin oily particles that have accumulated on your face and to detox from the pollution that clogs pores and generates imperfections. Always moisturise after cleansing your skin!
Unify the complexion
Dark circles, spots, and pimples can dull even a hydrated face. Our Healthy Glow Fluid offers skin a healthy glow and instantly improves the complexion by unifying it without demarcation. A multi-effect habit that saves time. Use it after applying your moisturiser at the end of your skincare routine. If redness persists, you can cover it up with a little Concealer (ours comes in seven shades). To achieve this, apply the stick to the areas then tap it on the area until your imperfections are blurred. The natural heat from your body will melt the material on the skin for a natural look. As for dark circles, a little concealer can be enough to brighten the area. Choose a tone that’s slightly lighter than your skin tone.
Beard and eyebrows: fill in the gaps
When it comes to the sparseness of your eyebrow or facial hair, using a waterproof eyebrow pencil in the same shade as your hair can be very effective. If your beard has several shades, it’s even possible to use two or three pencils in different shades to create a more detailed look. The idea is to fill them in by making small strokes. This is not a colouring exercise either! Some pencils feature a three-prong tip to further create the impression of hair.
For a more striking look
Finally, if there is one area to favour on the face, it’s the eyes. It’s possible to lighten your eyebrows very slightly to enlarge and brighten your eyes. Once the dark circles are under control, you can opt for a little transparent mascara to open up the eyes and hide potential fatigue. If the idea of this almost imperceptible product bothers you, using an eyelash curler can also get the job done.
You now have everything to be the person who always looks good wherever they go, like they got a perfectly good night’s sleep. Remember to rest all the same!
