We've got some news for you.
Three new Horace products will be released within the next two weeks!! Seven months after the face cleanser and the face moisturiser, new additions to the family are on the way. Needless to say, we’re more than happy to see the products come to fruition. Picture the smiliest of smiley emojis and copy-paste it 30 times in a row; this accurately reflects my current state of excitement. We built these products on the same basis as their predecessors: efficient, natural (with one of the three products being 99% natural, woop woop!), and good-looking, obviously. This is where I thank everyone; from Horace users, to the Horace team ✌️
So, what are these three new products, you might ask. Good question. Three facial care products: a murumuru-based facial scrub, a (two) clay mask, and refreshing face wipes. More face, more freshness, less sebum.
You might already know that exfoliation is considered the ultimate finishing touch to any grooming routine. We already had our exfoliating puff. We wanted something a little stronger, more efficient in preventing ingrown hairs, and therefore more adapted to prepare your skin pre-shave. I have a quick- and thick-growing beard, and even if I shave with clippers, I end up with ingrown hairs from time to time, so I needed something more vigorous yet still gentle. The idea wasn’t to emulate rubbing a cheese-grater on your face. We found the perfect ingredient to achieve what we were looking for: murumuru. A Brazilian almond which we used for its shell (exfoliating) and butter (moisturising). Say goodbye to dead skin cells, ingrown hairs, and tight skin.
Our new facial scrub will be made available on our website at the same time as a clay mask. A two-clay mask, to be precise. We wanted to design a mask which would reboot the skin by deeply cleansing it and making it softer, resulting in an instantaneously healthier, glowing skin. Quite handy when it comes to recovering from a night (or week, if you’re particularly resilient) of excessive partying. Consisting of a mix of pink and French green clay to absorb impurities, regulate sebum production, and foster healing, as well as shea butter and malted barley to soften the skin and leave you with a healthy glow. Remember to pack at least three if you’re going to attend a bachelor party.
That leaves us with the final product. The idea originated in June 2016 when I was left feeling dirtier than when I set off after cycling through Paris one afternoon to attend a meeting. We talked about it with our friends and family, with some of you too, only to realise it was a problem with no adequate solution. So we came up with one ourselves: refreshing face wipes infused with a toning solution with astringent and soothing properties, to eliminate excess sebum, tighten pores, and reduce redness. Each wipe is individually wrapped and therefore easy to carry with you, wherever you go. I even use mine as a pocket square.
By the way, the tube containers for our products are now smaller, more flexible and robust, to ensure you get down to the very last drop of your Horace products.
The facial scrub and clay mask will be available next week and the wipes will follow in a fortnight. Right on time to see you through summer. We’ll tell you more about them by then, we promise.
