Moisturising creams, cleansers, shampoos… It’s not always easy to see clearly when it comes to care, hence this guide to help you discover the essentials that’ll make the biggest difference in your routine.
When a scruffy-looking man meets a counterpart who is more concerned about his appearance, the latter is faced with a difficult choice: does he point out his lack of effort to him, at the risk of upsetting him? Or should he keep it to himself, hoping that one day he’ll look in the mirror and realise his own negligence?
If you want to be like the second man, you’ll need to be equipped with the essential elements.Elegance is an art that requires finesse and moderation. It’s important not to be diverted by ads that are trying to sell you deodorants for places located well south of your armpits.
A toothbrush
Brushing your teeth is obviously essential. But so is the quality of the Toothbrush you choose. It should be changed regularly, every 2 to 3 months. The informed man chooses one with soft or medium bristles which is gentle on his gums and slides perfectly into the most secret corners of his mouth.
Toothpaste
Toothpaste allows you to fight against bad breath and teeth stains. We recommend using a Fresh Mint Toothpaste that contains whitening agents and a fresh fragrance. Give your teeth a moment of relaxation after having suffered through all those espressos.
A body soap
The shower is a morning or night pleasure. We recommend you choose your own shower gel or bar soap while thinking of the scent as being your alarm clock. Some prefer it fresh like our Peppermint & Tea Tree Superfatted Soap Bar or Italian Bergamot & Peppermint shower gel, others more comforting like our Virginia Cedar & Sage Leaf bar soap or shower gel.
A facial cleanser
Some ill-advised men try to say that washing your face with water is enough. This is of course false, and it’s advisable to opt for a specific Purifying Face Cleanser, intended for one use only: the fight against the scourge of excess sebum.
A face cream
Rich Face Moisturiser is too often overlooked. It’s the only protection against the multiple external aggressions that your skin undergoes as a city dweller. By allowing you to have smoother, clearer, and better-looking skin, it helps you, above all, to be more pleasant to look at.
A shampoo
The cleanliness of your hair is as important as your haircut: no cut can save you from the bad impression that greasy hair makes on your interlocutor. Your shampoo should be adapted to your hair type. It’s high time to develop the same relationship of trust with your shampoo as with your hairdresse.
A deodorant
The key to avoiding disappointments and other sweat stains on your shirts. To contain bad odours and excessive sweating, 12h Protection Deodorant is essential. When it is aluminium and alcohol-free, it has the advantage of not staining your white shirts. We’ve all known a white shirt on the body that’s yellow under the arms. We've all said, "never again".
