In the next few weeks, we’ll go through and dissect the different steps to start taking care of your skin. Starting with cleansing.
Your face is the first part of your body that people see - unless you are in a naturist area. It is therefore the part of the body where the skin is most exposed to external aggressions, and often where it is the most fragile. At the beginning of this new year, Horace's team wanted to return to the B.-A.BA of skin care and to go through the different steps for beautiful skin. And, everything starts with the cleansing of the face.
No soap policy
It's time to put an end to a preconceived idea: washing your face with water and a conventional soap is not recommended, as the skin on your face is more fragile than the skin on your body. Using a gentle, moisturizing product, like our purifying facial cleanser, will help rid your skin of impurities while soothing it. It is formulated with binchotan which gently removes impurities to leave your skin perfectly clean. Aloe vera will soothe and protect the skin from dryness or irritation. It will thus be appropriate for all the skin types. Without a good regular facial cleansing, you leave your skin prone to the accumulation of bacteria in the pores, residues of environmental pollution and dead skin cells. For which results? The appearance of acne and a dull complexion.
The ideal is to emulsify a pea-sized portion on your wet face and neck for one minute before rinsing, once or twice a day. Certain areas are more prone to pimples and blackheads. For those concerned, it is advisable to insist particularly on the forehead, nose and chin which are particularly affected.
