Floral, woody, green. Unforgettable.

Oud Rose is refined yet extravagant, like wearing a leopard-print tuxedo to the opera. Geranium Rose and Rosemary offer a vibrant aromatic freshness. At the heart, a sensual, freshly cut Rose blends with a deep Patchouli. Finally, Oud, Cypriol and Sandalwood create a mysterious intensity.

How Oud Rose was created

How Oud Rose is made

Damascus rose, timeless elegance
Rose water has existed for 2000 years, thanks to the Persians
2 types are used: May Rose, Damascus Rose.
750 families in Turkey, paid in advance, cultivate the roses in Oud Rose.

Rose: a delicate scent, a delicate culture
4 tonnes of flowers are needed to obtain 1kg of essence.
They’re harvested early in the morning and distilled the same day.

A full, generous and powerful rose.
Distilled 2 times, then rose water is added.
So the essence smells of a freshly cut rose; green and spicy, powerful and persistent.

Oud, powerfully woody and animal
Oud comes from the agarwood tree from Southeast Asia.
It’s a resin created as a reaction to insects, fire and fungi.

The Oud gives an animal sensuality to the Rose
Sourcing is difficult because of its rarity.
It’s used in a synthetic accord in Oud Rose.

Made in Grasse, the world’s perfume capital
Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A tannery town that became a fragrance town to hide the bad odors of leather.

Handmade by Saïd
Saïd handmakes the entire concentrate.
He’s been preparing perfumes by hand for 30 years.
