The face is the first thing people see of you and, unless you're a naturist, one of the only visible parts of your body. Fortunately, it's easy to take care of with daily use of a suitable soap and moisturiser and the occasional deep cleansing scrub and mask.
1/ Every day, start by cleansing well to get rid of impurities
It's high time to put an end to a common misconception: washing your face with water and conventional soap is not recommended, as the skin on your face is more fragile than that on your body. Using a gentle, moisturising cleanser will rid your skin of impurities while soothing it, making it suitable for all skin types. Some areas are more prone to pimples and blackheads. For those concerned, focus on the nose and chin, which are particularly affected.
2/ Moisturise your face every day to look better and protect your skin
Don't neglect moisturising on a daily basis. Your city-dweller's skin is subject to many external aggressions, such as pollution. If it is well moisturised, it will fight these threats more easily and look clearer and smoother. A battle is being waged between your skin and city life, and your moisturiser will act as a perfect shield.
3/ Once or twice a week, get rid of dead skin with an exfoliator
Using an exfoliating sponge or an exfoliator in a tube will remove the dead skin that accumulates on your face. This is detrimental to your complexion, affecting the evenness of your skin. Don't let it build up and take action whenever you feel it's necessary, once or twice a week. Use a gentle product, such as our murumuru scrub, to unclog pores without harming your skin.
4/ Every two weeks, clear your pores with a mask
Once every fortnight, a deeper cleansing is necessary. When you are alone, in the privacy of your home, you can use a clay mask. This will remove the deepest impurities and cleanse your skin. Sit down in a comfortable armchair, open a book, and enjoy the action of the mask on your skin for about ten minutes.
