Referral program terms and conditions
As a Horace Referral member (a “Referrer”), you are subject to Horace's Terms of Use and Horace's Privacy Policy (both available on our website), as well as the following additional Terms & Conditions for Horace's Referral program:
Qualified Referral: A Qualified Referral is defined as a purchase made at Horace.co by a person (a "Referred Customer") who arrives to our website by clicking your Horace Referral Program link. We automatically disqualify suspicious referrals. If someone you referred made their first purchase using your Horace referral link and you didn’t receive Horace credit, your referral might have been flagged as suspicious. Just shoot us an email at [email protected] and we'll sort it out for you.
The Referred Customer and the Referrer cannot be the same person (for example, by using a different email address) nor use the same payment method (same credit card or PayPal account).
Referral Rewards: For you to earn referral rewards as a Referrer, the Referred Customer must complete an order on Horace.co.
Reward Payments: Rewards are payable in increments of €10. The maximum Qualified Referrals earned per calendar year may be no more than 50 Qualified Referrals. As a Referrer, you are responsible for any and all tax liability resulting from Referral Rewards.
Eligibility: Eligibility is limited to individuals only. Horace's Referral Program cannot be used by businesses for affiliate lead generation as determined in Horace's sole discretion.
Restrictions: You are only allowed to email referrals to friends and family members (those people with whom you have a personal relationship). A “friend” is a person with whom you communicate frequently and have met in person before. A “family member” is a person who is your parent, sibling or child or a person with whom you are related through marriage or common-law partnership. All use outside of this framework will be invalid.
If you make an order with a Horace gift card, you can't cumulate it with the referral.
No Spam: You must comply with all up-to-date “SPAM” laws. For example, emails must be created and distributed in a personal manner and bulk email distribution is strongly discouraged. Any distribution of your referral link that could constitute unsolicited commercial email or "spam" under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination of your account and exclusion from Horace's Referral Program. We'll be watching for spammers so please be kind and only share with friends you know—nobody likes an overshare-r!
Right to Close Accounts: Horace reserves the right to close the account(s) of any Referrer and/or Referred Customer and to request proper payment if the Referrer and/or Referred Customer attempts to use the Horace Referral Program in a questionable manner or breaches any of these Terms & Conditions or is in violation of any law, statute or governmental regulation.
Right to Cancel Program or Change Terms: Horace reserves the right to cancel the Horace Referral Program or to change these Terms & Conditions at any time in its sole discretion. Any unclaimed referral rewards will be forfeited at that time.
